It's time to finalize and confirm the details of your wedding. Here are the things we recommend doing two to six weeks before your wedding day.

Wedding Ceremony & Reception

  • Finalize plans for your rehearsal dinner.
  • Finalize plans for your flowers.
  • Create a timeline for those who will be providing services at the wedding (photographer, caterer, officiants, etc.).
  • Confirm details with the person who will officiate at your wedding and those who will be providing services at your wedding. Provide them with a copy of the timeline you've created.
  • Meet with the Musicians or DJ to confirm music to be played during your reception and wedding.
  • Selet the music for your first dance.
  • Give a list of any special seating arrangements to the ushers.
  • Plan the layout and seating for your reception with the site manager and caterer. If you would like seating to be arranged, write names on the place cards.

Wedding Guests

  • Contact any guests who have not responded to your invitation.

Invitations & Announcements

  • Finish addressing your wedding announcements.

Clothing

  • Have a final fitting for your bridesmaids' dresses and your gown.
  • Pick up wedding rings.

Wedding Party

  • Create a timeline for those in the wedding party.
  • Remind the bridesmaids and ushers/groomsmen of when and where they need to pick up their clothing for the wedding.
  • Purchase makeup and accessories for your bridesmaids.

Photography & Videography

  • Meet with the photographer to discuss any special photos you would like to have taken.
  • Meet with the videographer to discuss the events and people you would like videotaped.

Honeymoon

  • Start packing for your honeymoon.
